Equity and Inclusion in Modern Education Systems: Challenges of Closing the Digital Divide in the Age of Technology Enhanced Learning
Abstract
In an era where technology plays a pivotal role in education, the digital divide has emerged as a significant barrier to achieving equity and inclusion in modern education systems. This paper explores the challenges associated with bridging the digital divide and examines the impact of technology-enhanced learning on marginalized communities. The study highlights the need for policy interventions, infrastructure development, and inclusive pedagogical strategies to ensure that all students, regardless of their socio-economic background, have equal access to quality education.
