Exploration the effect of Four steps strategy on the enhancement of the spatial vocabulary in the subject of English grade III of male students in KPK Pakistan
Abstract
This study was experimental in nature. The study was conducted to explore the effect of four steps strategy on the spatial vocabulary enhancement in the subject of English grade III of male students in KPK Pakistan. The single group four cycle design was used in this study. The sample of the study comprised of 10 male students of grade III. The other objectives of the study were (i) to explore the effects of four-step strategy on the spatial vocabulary enhancement of control group students, (ii) to compare the effect of four-step strategy on the spatial vocabulary enhancement of experimental group students, (iii) to compare the effect of four-step strategy on the spatial vocabulary enhancement in the subject of English of control and experimental groups students. The venue for the experiment was, Army Public School and College (Iqra) Risalpur Cantt District Nowshehra. 10 male students of grade III were taken as sample of the study by using purposive sampling technique. The duration of the study was four weeks. Pre-test and post-test was used for collection of data. The collected data was tabulated and analyzed using paired t-test. The major conclusion of the study showed that four step strategies had significant effect on spatial vocabulary enhancement in the male students of grade III in the subject of English. Comparatively the performance of experimental group was much better than control group. It is recommended that the teacher use four-step strategy to the academic achievements of male students in the subject of English be beneficial for students and teachers to increase the spatial vocabulary in the subject of English by using four step strategy.
